Content curating: you provide the content, we get it posted on your website

Our content experts can handle any type of content management assignment — copy, photography, graphics, video, Flash, etc. — from placement of content to proofreading and testing. We have experience working with a broad range of website technical platforms.

We work most effectively when we manage some or all of your web content on an ongoing basis, so we get to know your brand standards and your site's technical structure. We are also available for one-time or short-term engagements to help out in a crunch, or fill in for vacationing web content managers.

Best of all, we are so efficient at managing web content that we challenge you to find another service provider who can provide better value. By the hour, by the project, or an ongoing monthly fee, we provide an incredibly cost-effective alternative to the kinds of rates typically charged by web developers or advertising agencies.

You will always receive and approve an estimate before any work is begun. A 50% deposit is required on project work with the balance due upon completion. You will never pay the second 50% until you are completely satisfied — that's our satisfaction guarantee. We provide a 10% discount to non-profit organizations.

Expired content services

One of the most typical content challenges is managing out-of-date content (calendar events that have passed is one very common example). Artisan offers a service to audit the areas of your site where content is dated, and then automatically delete expired content (and replace with new information, if applicable). Ask us for a quote to manage expired content on your website.

Content training: seminars or one-on-one training

Our seminar objectives are to improve the skills and efficiency of your staff, and to perfect the quality of your website's content. All of Artisan Content's training seminars are custom-tailored to your situation. The program consists of walking your web content managers through Artisan Content's 10 Cs of great web content and our 7 deadly content mistakes. For each of the 17 areas, specific information is covered and examples are used that are drawn from, or are directly relevant, to the site(s) you manage.

  • Our seminars are a half day long
  • Seminars are conducted at your facilities
  • You provide internet access, a screen and a projector
  • Any size group can be accommodated
  • Each seminar includes structured curriculum material plus Q&A
  • Two or more weeks prior to the seminar, we will schedule a conference call to review your objectives and our methodology. This assures there is a clear understanding about what will be accomplished.
  • One week prior to the training session all participants will be asked to fill out a questionnaire so the seminar content can be customized to meet their needs to the greatest extent possible.
  • If you want some of the training to include demonstrations of content management on your actual website, we will need CMS login information ahead of the seminar to prepare.

The fee for a half-day seminar is $1,500 regardless of the number of attendees. plus travel and expenses. We offer a 10% discount for non-profit organizations. Please use the form at right to inquire about an Artisan Content training seminar for your business or organization.

Content strategy

With our Content Strategy services your site is given a thorough review and you are provided with actionable recommendations in a comprehensive report. Our specialists review the content of your website and provide a rating of each page based on Artisan Content's 10 Cs of great web content. Your site is also evaluated against our 7 deadly content mistakes checklist.

A rating is given for each of those 17 criteria, as well as a ranking relative to the websites of three of your competitors' websites (identified by you). The audit process requires you to fill out a questionnaire describing the objectives for your site, target audience profile(s), your three main competitors (or, for non-profit organizations, three other organizations you want your site ranked against) and other information which we will use to evaluate the effectiveness of your site's content.

Once the audit is complete, a written report is prepared recommending how to address any needed improvements. More than just a critique, this report will recommend how to implement a web content strategy that makes your website work harder to achieve the business goals you provide in your questionnaire.

Free, no obligation content audit quotes are provided upon request, by submitting the form at right.
